Brief History

Arkon Prima Indonesia’s journey towards its leading position commenced in 1973, as UK’s Taylor Woodrow International forged a joint venture with a local partner, to participate in Indonesia’s rapid development.

Annual capacity was set initially at 3,000 MT, and the ARKON Pre-engineered Industrial Plant became the first prime product.

Diversifying in 1981, to produce construction material for a variety of large industrial plants, Arkon Prima Indonesia has now a capacity of 12,000 MT steelwork and 3,000 MT plate work per year.

With a track-record of more than 100,000 MT in its first 24 years, it is now owned by Farreton Capital Co., Ltd. of Hong Kong and Indonesia’s PT. Sentra Bangun Harmoni.
